About Miss Gabriella Guevara
Miss Gabriella Guevara is an award-winning Consultant Oculoplastic Surgeon, providing both functional and cosmetic eyelid surgery across York and Leeds.
As a committed educator, she serves as an educational supervisor, training future ophthalmologists and international fellows through the esteemed Leeds Oculoplastic Fellowship Programme. Miss Guevara also holds the position of Honorary Lecturer at the University of Leeds Medical School.
Education and Experience
Miss Guevara pursued her medical studies at Trinity College Dublin, graduating with honours, and began her medical and ophthalmic training in Dublin before completing higher specialist training in London at Moorfields Eye Hospital, the Western Eye Hospital, and Barts Health NHS Trust. During this period, she served as Senior Resident at the Western Eye Hospital.
With triple fellowship-training, having undertaken advanced oculoplastic fellowships at Moorfields Eye Hospital, the Royal Free Hospital, and Imperial College NHS Trust, in 2024, she received the prestigious Richard Collin Scholarship from The British Oculoplastic Surgery Society. Additionally, she expanded her international experience as a Clinical Observer at the Shiley Eye Institute, University of California San Diego.
